I need to get a good appraisal of a house that’s in the family. A suburban house outside of Philly. Not interesting in listing it; therefore not interested in working with any real estate agents.
How does one get this done?
Hire an appraiser.
A qualified appraiser is your best bet. Before doing so, you can get a ballpark figure by looking at Zillow or Trulia. When we did a re-fi, those sources were very, very close to what the appraiser gave us.
