How do I get rid of ear cysts?

I got little bumps in my ear lobe that in theory could be popped like acne but they don’t. I think they are cysts. I could be wrong though. If I’m not, does anyone know how I can get rid of these things or if they will go away on there own?

Do you mean, it feels like the hard body of a pimple but inside the fleshy part of the lobe? I get one appearing from time to time in my right ear. It’s not visible to the naked eye but I can feel it and it annoys me. However they always seem to disappear on their own after a while. I guess if one got really big you could get it lanced.

I’ve had one in my left earlobe for decades. Once I lanced it with a needle and what seemed like a pint of glop came out of it when I squeezed it. I thought that was the end of it,but it came back, and now it’s rather huge, although it has never hurt at all.

A doctor once told me that it was a minor procedure that could be done in the office. Maybe I’ll broach that to my current doctor the next time I see him.

By the way, after that successful lancing I’ve tried it again many times with no results. It’s frustrating.

I call them “beadies,” because that’s what they feel like. Once I had a small one that I was actually able to manipulate out of the ear piercing hole. My husband gets them. They almost always have a small hole over them, and if you have someone to pinch it out for you it is much more effective. I just press it as far forward as I can, then pinch it sharply toward the skin hole. Sometimes you have to remove them from the back of the lobe, depends on how close they are to which side.

Usually a tiny snake of goop spits out, and I squeeze until it’s all gone, or he protests too much and tries to get away. Once in a while I can pop out an entire waxy “seed”.
