As of now my opinion of you, Valteron, can only be expressed in the Pit. But you really ought to shut the fuck up already before you spew any more ignorant idiocy like this. I work with al-Fatiha (my name’s on their site), they are for real, they are among the bravest people on the planet and the only lifeline to hope available to many queer Muslims around the world. Take back what you said about my peeps.

And WHY would a site for gay Muslims (if it is genuine) be “the bravest people on the planet and the only lifeline to hope available to many queer Muslims around the world”? Obviously, because Islam is inherently homophobic, and murderously so. By admitting that gay Muslims must cling to a web site as their only hope available in the world, you have confirmed what I have been saying about the religion.

Why would any sane gay person want to remain a Muslim? I view gay Muslims in exactly the same way as I view gay Catholics. They remind me of women who are victims of domestic violence but will not leave their abuser, insisting instead that “It is not that bad” and “He has problems” and “Sometimes I should be more careful not to make him angry.”

Gay Muslims, Catholics, or any other people who remain in a homophobic religion are collaborators in their own oppression.

I sense that this discussion is sort of heading to the BBQ Pit anyhow, so I will be more than happy to debate you there, Johana. Gay Muslims??? What a crock!!!
