How do theme parks and other large venues make sure that all people are out of the park at the end of the day?

A couple of friends of mine are police officers at our state fair park. At the daily close of the state fair and other events they sweep the park to make sure they got everyone out and there is nobody hiding or passed out somewhere. But of course they can’t check everywhere, and there are always vendors and other employees remaining so every now and then someone who shouldn’t still be there is found by the cops or security staff.

Sometimes those people that hide and stay are up to no good. Trying to break into vendor stands and such. Charges of prowling or even burglary happens.

In Florida’s climate, it probably wouldn’t be too hard to find someplace not too uncomfortable to sleep, even without proper camping gear. Though sleeping might make it harder to evade security (or the soul-eating demons).

Depending on who is keeping you company you might be able to come up with some fun ways to pass the time.

Monterey Bay Aquarium lets a select group of members stay overnite. You get a T-short saying “I slept with the fishes”. I still have mine.

Soul-eating demons. Now that’s a slang word for alligator I’ve never heard before.
