We’ve all seen those grainy black and white videos of a scientist poking around inside some cell, injecting or removing ribosomes or mitochondria or whatever. That’s all fine and all, but how are those tiny syringes manufactured?
My best guess is pute fantasy, and it involves nano-robots swarming around with arc-welders and sand paper. Really, you don’t want to hear it.
So, uh… How do they do it? Wouldn’t the surface tension of molten steel that size make a mold unmanageable?
I don’t know. Somebody please tell me before I go into fits over here!
