I would assume that one of the reasons that posts of BANNED members still appear is as a sort of warning to others about what not to do and so there will be no question as to what led up to their banning.

Any other rules specific to any other forum are simply clarification of that rule for specific applications. Hate speech is clearly being a jerk, but some people had no idea what that was, and so Lynn spelled it out for them.

Getting warned and doing the same thing will get someone banned.
I haven’t pulled the EVIL MONKEY posts because I haven’t felt like going through the threads and reading them. Removing those posts takes quite a bit of time and server resources. Also, people had replied to EVIL MONKEY, so I’d have to either pull THEIR posts too, or leave EM’s posts up, or have the replying posts look rather silly.

God no. I don’t even know how to post a link, much less where that thread is…it was about some woman having a lot of trouble with her apartment/landlord and I suggested she move. I wasn’t pleasant about it but I was surprised at the warning.

What for? It’s just a warning. I’ve been beat down numerous times. You learn from it and don’t do whatever it was that got you warned again. It’s not like you’re on thin ice or anything.
