how do you hurry production in civ 4 ?

Ok, I’m playing civ 4… I have universal sufferage it says I can use pile o cash to speed up buildings but i can’t figure out for the life of me how to do that?

and wow was this one a bit different than playing 1-3… I’m just laying the base game for now … there’s a few more

I’ve actually played a bit recently.

On the city screen there are two up arrows, one for hurrying w/ slavery (on the left) one for hurrying w/ money (on the right).

Civ IV is still my favourite of all the Civ games. Both the Warlords and Beyond the Sword expansion packs are strongly recommended.

Yes, I still play Civ 4* as well (and agree with getting both extensions.)

As Snarky_Kong said, you want the buttons giving Hurry for Slavery or Hurry for money.
Note that both require your Civilisation to select a specific Civic (press F3 in the game to see these):

  • Slavery is the second Civic under Labour (opens Slavery option)
  • Universal Suffrage is the final Civic under Government (opens Gold option)
    *plus ‘Heroes of Might and Magic 3’ and ‘Masters of Magic’. :cool:
