I don’t know if this helps the OP or not, but when I use Tapatalk on my iPod Touch I see the images/videos in posts as opposed to the links. I’m not sure if that’s an option or just the way it works on that app.

Or, of course, we could all do our best to establish our own thoughts and ideas and communicate them with the written word. It is the second oldest - and to my mind the best - form of communication available to us. It requires thought and precision (one hopes) as well as the ability to form complete sentences and proper grammar to be taken seriously.
It’s for similar reasons we tend to frown on leet speak and other forms of Internet shorthand. Use your words, you’ll be better after doing so.
Calling people childish and telling them to grow up is kind of frowned upon on this board. Ironically, it’s pretty childish behavior.
You’re on a PC? From the lack of capitalization and the poor grammar choices, I assumed that you were using a smart phone (that’s usually the excuse given for laziness). You’ve wandered into a place where you’re apparently out of your depth, and where your wishes won’t be instantly agreed to. I’d suggest you either move on or lurk for awhile to see if you’ll fit in. Posting these sorts of sneering comments will only incur mockery and derision, however. Your choice.

Would this board be more fun if we had pictures? Maybe. But, and I realize this might be hard to grasp at first, fun isn’t the primary purpose of this board. Yeah, we have fun here, but the primary purpose of this board is to be informative. And the format we have suits that just fine.

This is a place for the exchange of thoughts, ideas, and information. It is still very possible to post tons of vapid bullshit using just words; in fact we already have plenty of regular posters who do that almost exclusively (like myself, for example :p).
If you have an unstoppable urge to share picture memes, LOLcats, and videos of people getting whacked in the balls, there are plenty of other places on the internet to do so. I’m not saying that’s what davethehammer necessarily wants to do, but allowing pictures and video is only inviting every illiterate moron with internet access to come and do so. It’s inevitable; I’ve seen it happen and it ain’t pretty.
