Yes, another “how do you pronounce” thread. I once worked for a woman who said “negoseeate” instead of “negoshe-ate.” Made me nuts, and I couldn’t figure out why she pronounced it that way. For “initiate” did she say “inisee-ate”? Why, no she didn’t. So why did she pronounce “negotiate” that way?
