How do you pronounce the name “Homayoon”?
I’ve never heard of it. Is it a place name or a person’s name?
If it’s the same as the Middle Eastern/Indo-Persian name “Humayun”, as in the famous Emperor Humayun’s Tomb in Delhi, the pronunciation for English speakers would be roughly “hoo-MY-oon”.
Humanyun was one of the Mughal emperors to rule India. The pronunciation in the previous post is pretty close
Hu-my-oon
Only thing is that -oon will not be like noon…the last ‘n’ would be like hmmm…
It’s pronounced Throatwarbler Mangrove.
