Forgive my ignorance,
I’m meeting with a potential customer tomorrow, I spoke with him briefly on the phone today but he didn’t happen to use his own name (I called him.)
**Anzelmas
**
Is that Polish? I’m mostly wondering about which is the stressed syllable. an-ZELL-mas? AN-zell-mas? Or am I completely off?
Eastern European, possibly Lithuanian; Poland’s not a bad guess. Ahn-TSEHL-mahs is the pronunciation listed in my books of names for babies.
Thanks, met with the guy today (he was a great guy) and he pronounced it pretty much like you wrote. And yes, he’s native Lithuanian.
Meeting went well, our product performed, and now we’ve got an order. Hurrah!
