Some say “you.” Others say “you all” or “y’all.” And then there’s “you guys” and “youse guys.” Then there’s one of my aunts, born in PA and now living in MI, who says “you’uns.”
I say “you.” How about you?

I say “you.” How about you?
In a professional setting: “you” or “all of you”
Goofing around: “youse guys” or “y’all”
It depends on how many people you are addressing doesn’t it? I still use the boring old ‘you’ for a single person and maybe ‘you lot’ for a group.
i just use the word ‘scum’ instead of ‘you’.
I usually say “you all” or “you guys,” with the occaisional y’all thrown in there. I’m from the Chicago suburbs, born, raised, and still living there.
I say “you” almost exclusively.
My grandmother, who pronounces just about everything off, says “youse” for “you” plural. Weirdo.
Y’all most of the time
-Lil
singular = “you”
plural = “y’all” or “you folks”
Depending on the situation, I’ll address people by name or say, “you two,” “you three,” etc. (I’m rarely called upon to address mass rallies. If I were, I think I’d stick with “you” and trust the plural would be implied. Remember the fuss over Ross Perot and “you people”?)
I’ll say “you guys” if I’m talking to a group of guys or women who don’t mind being called guys.
Depends.
“You,” “you guys,” and “you people” works. I know “you people” grates on some of you people, though.
For some reason I have this urge to say “you all” a lot, but my family makes fun of me. So, no “you all.”
Singular “you,” plural “y’all.”
you/you guys
Exactly.
All y’all. I don’t know why.
It tend you use it as a plural and singular, as in ‘…can you do…’ and 'I’ll like all of you to…"
I think the frequency of saying “y’all” drops off quickly outside the US, unless people are doing faux Texan accents
You=singular
Y’all=plural
Ziggy=groups of exactly 8
I just “you all” (clearly make the words distinct - I like it that way for some reason) or “you guys” if its less formal.
I think “you people” grates because it’s often used in such a context as to suggest that the people in question are troublesome, irritating, or somehow excluded from some larger group.
Singular…you
Plural…y’all
BIG bunches of y’all…all y’all or y’all all
Any group including my ex-boss or my demented ex-SO or Tom DeLay (my congresscritter)…you ignorant pathetic excuses for human beings
You. Sometimes “you all.” Infrequently “ya’ll.”
