Whatever keeps maximum fabric between my chin and my neckline. I either pull an end out the neck loop (kind of a Windsor knot) or else double the scarf over and pull the ends through the loop (a ring knot).
I have two scarves, a practical burgundy flannel one and an unbelievably diva-esque chenille net, also burgundy.
