how do you windows users put up with this?

I dunno, how do you Mac users put up with not being able to play/run 90% of the most current games/software?

My favorite game is called Internet; it’ll run pretty much on any machine that’s come out in the last decade or so.

Apps? Good enough is current enough; I don’t want whistles & bells when all I need is a buzzer.

Well, a lot of the times I’ve seen it, it’s been right after I happen to mention that I have a Mac. ("But you could get a PC for so much cheaper . . . " “iFruit,” and so forth.) On some of the Mac boards I frequent, PC users will come to troll. This certainly isn’t a one-way sort of thing.

I’m sure you’re right. My main experience with the PC-bashing phenomenon occurs right here on these message boards, and on a few other forums that i visit around the web.

I have no doubt that plenty of PC users get stupid hard-ons over their equipment. I think they are just as lame as the Mac people i’ve been criticizing in this thread.

As just another amusing example of what i’ve been talking about, check out the OP in this thread over in IMHO, and then look at the very first response he gets.

Yeah, they are. And there are a lot of them. If you were a Mac user, you’d undoubtedly encounter your fair share of them, as I have. Neither side should get all high-and-mighty and sanctimonious about what the “other” side is doing, since there are plenty of pains-in-the-asses to go around—from both sides.
