How does the Rio Grande buoy barrier work?

Would dikes cut the razor wire? Or do you need full on bolt cutters.

I read that kayakers are pissed off about this thing. I’m sure it ruins the experience, and even makes it dangerous.

It’s a lot easier to staff the ends than the entire length.

From the pic, they are attching it to those metal brackets on the hoops. I don’t think anyone wants the job of winding razor wire around a mile of buoys.

I didn’t think they’d do it down the whole line-- just through the most shallow parts.

If only Texas had someway to access an endless supply of cheap labor!
