Reading between the lines of the TDIW FAQ, it appears to be old-fashioned fiscal responsibility: reduce spending, pay off debts, invest. What you’re paying for is help in identifying expenditures to cut and deciding how to apply the money to your debt. The bad news is that it’s built around delaying gratification, which is no fun.
