I’ve just finished the first book in the series and I’d like to watch the TV show, but I don’t want to be spoiled for the other books until I read them. Is it one book per season?
The first season of the show ends at the same point as the end of the first book. Season 2 of the show will air later this year.
The last episode has an extremely small portion of Arya’s story from book 2. You’d be fine to watch the first season.
if I remember the interview correctly, the first season, was all of the first book, and the second season plans to be most of the second book, and after that, when the books started to get super loooooooong the plan was to split book 3 and 4 into 2 seasons each!
At that sort of rate the kid playing Rickon will be collecting social security by the time they’re done.
