How fast would they move when they fall. odd ball physics puzzle/question

How fast (MPH or fraction of) Would a line of standard dominos fall, if they were lined up at the equator on a level plane.

Yes this is a serious question.

Would elevation affect the speed? how much?

What kind of speed difference is there between each degree of tilt?

Does changing from a straight line to brisk curve affect the MPH performance?

It depends on the setup of the tiles and the mass of each one. Elevation will affect the speed because the force of gravity lessens, but the change will be very small. I think that changing the setup from a straight line to a curve affects the speed depending on the curvature of the curve.

How close they are to each other is the biggest variable by far.

Set closely, each domino only falls a few degrees before hitting the next. Although it continues to fall, the impetus is passed on much earlier than it would be if the dominos were set as far apart as possible, without creating a miss. Inclines of the surface on which the row is set will allow faster or slower transmission, too.
