I have no reason to believe I would be anything other than thoroughly mediocre. I’m a nice person who honestly wants to help people but I doubt I have the ability to be an effective top dog. Frankly, I suspect this is true of 90% of all people and the people in this poll giving any answer highly than “mediocre” are hopelessly deluded.
I put “above average.” I have a demonstrated talent for learning, and for seeing the detailed workings of incredibly complex systems. I am also a highly trained and effective negotiator.
What I’m not, is charming. There’s also the fact that my stamina is not what it used to be. And I think my vision of what constitutes a “good” leader would be very different from the average Americans. Basically I’ll be aiming for a Nordic-style social democracy.
So yeah, no second term for me, but I would give my work a high grade.
