I’d go for it then, IIRC about 90% of the time the first number one suspect for the murder is not the one who did it. And what tasteless pun would Briscoe make about the body? That’s the important part.
I worked at Lowe’s while I was in A&P school, and helped unload the delivery trailers from time to time. I’ve seen video of the sort at various FedEx and UPS hubs. I’ve listened to the stories from my Air Force Reserve pilots who flew for both purple and brown about their turns in the warehouse or on a truck as part of their orientation. I’ve pushed thousands of pallets in cargo airplanes. Believe me, I’m not oblivious to the fact that shit gets beat up in transit, regardless of who the sender or carrier are, and I have no illusions that my TVs were handled gently at all stages by little old ladies with white gloves on.
HOWEVER… For me, Amazon has had a 100% success rate for intact, undamaged, and operational TV delivery over the years, as recently as last month when I ordered a refurbished 32" TV for my daughter’s new playroom. In comparison, this is better than RockAuto’s success rate for delivering intact, undamaged, and operational auto parts to me. Because of this, and their proven track record of getting the shit I’ve ordered to my doorstep quickly and cheaply over many years, I will continue to use Amazon as my go-to online shopping provider, unless/until their delivery service degrades to the point where everything I order is destroyed in transit.
ETA: I’m not bashing on you, kopek. I hope this didn’t sound like it.
