If I didn’t have to come into Little Rock for work or school I could go months without seeing anything but a white face.

Small world, MGibson. My husband lived in Sheridan until he was about 12 (20 years ago). His family lives in Fordyce and Kingsland now.

My current Neighborhood of Euclid, OH:

White 66.4%
Black 30.6%
Native American 0.1%
Asian 0.9%
Reporting some other race 0.3%
Reporting two or more races 1.6%
Hispanic or Latino origin 1.1%

As far as integration, I would say Euclid is about 50% evenly integrated and 50% segregated. The neighborhoods along the lakeshore tend to be evenly mixed. The further south you go, the more they become homogenized. The areas sharing borders with other suburbs and lake county cities are mostly white, and the areas sharing borders with Cleveland are mostly black. My particular street is close to the lake, and I’d say about evenly split between black/white homeowners. The population of Euclid (as of 2000) is 52,717.
