My point is that the fundamentists take the book of Revelations to be word of truth istead of Symbolism, so they wait for Jesus to pick them up in the air.
To believe the Bible or any writings are the word of God is taking the word of a human being and what they teach or say. So believe is only based on a human mind. I am not against people believing what they choose if it helps them to become a better person. Belief is a personal thing and is influenced by one’s upbringing, culture, or a number of things. Some change their beliefs some cling to them.
No one has the patent on what belief is the right one. What is right belief for some may not be good for another. We believe what we want to believe Faith is a matter of choice.
Boy, had I forgotten all of that! Still, while that’s way cool, it can’t supplant the Pooh-ish image of our Clothy I have in my mind. Of course, that always comes up and smacks me in the face when I see one of his posts dealing with politics, so perhaps I can add the bouts of senility aspect of the real Clothahump to my blanket-monster to reconcile the name and the poster and tell myself that it’s just a bout of senility when he posts on current events.
