Fingers crossed that Maria Shriver returns to NBC news. I always looked forward to her specials. I understand why she had to stop. The conflict of interest thing… Hopefully, with Arnold done with the Governator job, Maria can get back to what she does best.
I know this is Cafe Society, but I think this is an idea with merit that should be explored further.

Come to think of it, looking at his filmography, Arnold has never yet done a serious dramatic role (N.B.: a phrase I am using in a sense that excludes action roles).
In the climactic fight scene, right after he rampages through the RNC offices, he confronts Rove in his office, grabs an antique tea pot off the shelf and smashes it over Rove’s head, after which he says, “Welcome to my tea pah-ty.”
Ahnuld fills Rove with hot lead and sneers, “Invoice that!”
Anhuld blows up Rove’s house and quips, “Looks like you’re The Architect… of nothing!”

I’m thinking Arnold could take over Charlton Heston’s role as head of the agency.
While I understand that “Karl Rove” is libspeak for “Republican whom I hate”, why would Arnold have to fight Rove to defeat the Tea Party? Hasn’t Rove made a bunch of statements which were less than complimentary to Palin and the TPer’s?
My longshot guess: Arnold is appointed ‘Green Czar’ by Obama. Or perhaps given a cabinet position like Secretary of the Interior. Another possibility is a new Czar position for bipartisanship and/or government reform.
I suspect he’s done with the Republican Party - He’s not the Tea Party type, and he’s too green for a lot of Republicans. He’ll never live down his greenhouse gas reduction plan and other green initiatives when it comes to the Republican base.
Another possibility is that he becomes an outside reformer, giving speeches and writing books on government reform and being an advocate for bipartisanship and other ‘good government’ initiatives. He’s naturally telegenic and good in front of the cameras, so he could parlay a role like that into being a regular fixture in Washington, a regular guest on various news shows, etc. He can then turn that popularity into a successful writing and lecturing career, with the odd movie role thrown in.
Though its title escapes me, I seem to remember a drama Arnold was in along the lines of Dangerous Minds and Freedom writers. He played a teacher in a troubled school that inspired his ill behaved class and rid the school of drug dealers. There was also a touching sub plot where Arnold had to come to terms with his debilitating brain tumor.
I’d always hopped they’d do one last Conan movie.
Towards the end of his life, Conan finds a way to reunite with Valeria (Sandahl Bergman).
Wouldn’t that be freaking awesome?
