…Ohhh, btw it’s still punch card voting in my neck of the woods. I checked my ballot card for hangers and preggos, heh.
About 35 minutes I guess. I went at 0600 as soon as the polls opened and had to wait a bit. Always have to show ID, then sign the book. Into the booth to punch buttons next to flashing lights-that only took a minute. Collect my sticker from a lady who works at the same hospital I do and then back home to sleep. Because I work at night.
And now it looks like the marriage amendment is passing 2 to 1.
Crap.
9 minutes from the time I stepped out of the car until I got back in. That included time to chat with the precinct workers. I think one of the reasons for the speed is that we still use punch ballots which I hope we keep. The workers were very professional and everything went smoothly.
Less than 5 minutes, but they invited my wife and I to stay around. Said they were going to pop some popcorn. Since I’d already voted, it wasn’t an attempt to buy my vote.
