Hi
I’ve heard reference to Bedouin measuring time in camel days. How long is a “camel day”.? I look forward to your feedback.

Are you sure a camel day isn’t a measure of distance?
If that’s it, it’s somewhere between 25 and 30 miles.
As in, if it takes a camel, or a guy on a camel, two and a half days to get from here to there, that’s two and a half camel days away.
Time? I’d have guessed it was a measure of distance, as mentioned in this comment to an article on the ancient Greek calculation of the size of the Earth:
Can you do the Kessel run in less than 12 camel days?
That is fantastic. The near opposite of the light year…the camel day.
No. The antithesis of a light year is the beard second.
But I like camel day as a unit.
There is this Camel Day. Which is typically about 8 hours long for the Nine to Fivers.
