How many 2021 calendars have you gotten so far?

I’m thinking of the freebie calendars that nonprofits send you in the hopes that you’ll send them money.

I got one last week from The Nature Conservancy, and another today from another enviro group. So: two, and counting. :slightly_smiling_face:

No calendars, but I’ve got return address labels coming out my ears in the last few weeks. I never, ever, ever mail anything, so they’re completely wasted on me.

Two so far.

Two so far: Nature Conservancy and Yosemite Conservancy.

In the past I’ve also gotten them from the California State Parks Foundation, World Wildlife Fund, and the Audubon Society.

The Nature Conservancy calendars are usually my favorite, so they always end up being the ones I actually use. Others I usually give away to family at Christmas.

I used to save the return address labels, until I realized I was accumulating them way faster than I was using them. I only ever actually mail things a few times a year. So now I just toss them when they arrive.

I have never received a calendar in my mailbox, unless you include little notepads with a real estate agent’s name on them.

I’m slightly amazed that you’re getting calendars for next year before this year is even half over.

None. And I no longer get return address stickers from the Chesapeake Bay Foundation, which is good - we have more than enough for the rest of our lives, considering how rarely we mail anything any more.

I got one from Nature Conservancy a few weeks ago. Not only a wall calendar, but also a 2021-2022 datebook, a 2021 monthly planner, and of course a sheet of return address labels (of which I currently have enough to probably last through the rest of the century). There was also a Certificate of Recognition for my contribution to supporting the environment.

I haven’t donated to them in years, but apparently they live in hope of guilting me into doing so. Also, if I donate %15, they say they’ll send me an umbrella.

I haven’t received a freebie calendar from ANYONE for many years. Word must have gotten out what a colossal cheapskate I am.

Yeah, who mails that much stuff anymore? A sheet or two of address labels can last you a lifetime.

First one got here before the solstice!

I don’t think I’ve gotten a freebie calendar in years. I remember the old real estate agent calendars with a magnet to put on the fridge as well. State Farm used to sent me small stand up calendars to go on a desk, haven’t seen them in years but also don’t have car insurance.

I do get the return address labels. Now they go in the trash, I’ve got plenty and finally have some non holiday ones.

I actually do buy a day by day nightstand calendar every year but it’s NYT crossword calendar so I try to do the previous day’s puzzle. And, I wait for a couple days after the new year when they’re on sale for a few bucks, I get about 300 puzzles for that
