How Many Brain Cells Are Required To Know That You Store A Magic Marker With The Tip Pointing DOWN!?

I don’t know who officially owns the company/name, but here are some made by BIC and sold at Staples.

ETA: I see those are dry erase markers. A search shows they also have BIC Magic Marker window markers. I didn’t see any permanent BIC Magic Markers on there though.

Obviously tip facing left if you’re right handed, vice-versa for lefties. Sheesh.

People who have them facing towards them are condemned to the 9th circle of Hell. Facing away? Condemned to visiting a wax museum for a day.

face down for markers, whatever brand.

My problem is with clicker pens

I like them as apposed(if that is the right word) to the cap kinds. Caps are always hard to pull off and then finding them is another problem. Clickers can always be picked up and ready to write UNLESS the husband used them and he clicks it off

I try to keep my “clickers” away from him.

The problem: I keep my clickers, click down. One had to leak! How dare it! Same pen as all the others but this one was retarded. I have to keep it laying down or unclick it and fat chance I do that…I need my “clicks” right to go, to write!:dubious:

OMG SOMEBODY WAS WRONG ON THE INTERNET! And it was me! :smack: Can’t let that go uncorrected, petty and frivolous thought it may be!!!

The Avery felt tip markers of which I wrote are MARKS-A-LOT, not Magic Marker! (Yeah, I just looked.) The old ones had the Avery logo, and the new ones don’t. (Why this worries me: With the former brand-name logo, I figured I was getting a high quality product. With the new, somewhat plainer looking ones without the brand-name logo, I wonder if I’ve got some third-rate generic that won’t last worth shit.)

For cheaper yucks, put all the caps on all the wrong colors. Or combine four or five conference rooms’ markers so each room has a full assortment of cap colors but all the markers in any given room are the same color.

Totally evil…
I hope you have green metal underwear if you are ever caught.

Dear Dr. Sharpie,

I know you mention Magic Marker in the title, but then you go on about Sharpie’s. Since you have so many brain cells, what is the proper tip you point down with a Sharpie Twin Tip? Inquiring minds want to know…fat or thin? Please cite your answer. Lack of cite nulls this whole thread.

Disclaimer: this is not to be considered an official statement from the USPTO.

BIC does.

Wait, you keep your retractable pens with the pen tip sticking out and touching the pen cup bottom? Wtf?

I’m shocked you only had one pen leak. The ball point is pressing against the bottom and probably gets jostled around when the other pen cup tenants leave or come home, increasing the potential for the ball point to move around, carrying ink along with it.
