Another Charter Lurker.
Not only are the vast majority of Charter Members still left, I’ve not seen many compelling arguements yet that’ll cause any to be willing to change.
Some of the good news of late: We’ve been seeing a trickle of returning members – people who were formerly Charter Members and have returned at full price, bless their hearts.
We’ve even had people who had wandered off when we left AOL come over to the new board – only eight years later.
I guess it really is true: You can check out any time you like but you can never leave.

What?! We were atritted? When? I knew I had been derided, lambasted, upbraided, downtrodden, overridden, and my depreciation amortized (on the books, I’m pretty much worthless.) Gosh, atritted, too? I am not a Charter Member. I went through a foot stamping period of about 18 months before I gave in to my baser instincts…

I was a charter member, then I wandered off, then I wandered back. It mox nix to me whether I’m CM or just M, though it appears to be more of a big deal to some others.
