I’m a “bottom runger” (I’ve been at the same company over two decades, but have absolutely no desire to move into middle management - who needs the headaches? i have a great benefits/perks package, and i make enough to pay the bills, play a little, and “store nuts for the winter” - so why add stress to the mix?)
