How many miles on your car?

I just retired a 1990 Toyota Corolla (topaz) with 195,000 miles on it. About half were from my parents.

I now drive a (sigh) 1990 Toyota Corolla (blue) with 130,000 miles on it. I’ve put only maybe 10-15,000 miles on it.

My '96 Mazda Protege is just shy of 140,000 miles, all mine. I bought it new.

My wife’s '96 Civic coupe has 145,000 miles, all but maybe 10,000 of it hers.

My F4i has 8,000 miles, 2,000 when I bought it in April. My wife’s SV-650S has 10,000 miles, 6k of it hers.

Our oldest vehicle, a '75 T-500, only has 13,000 miles on it.

'93 Altima with ~140k on it, 100k of which are mine. Mostly driving to and from work with only a couple round trips over 400 miles.

My 97’ Accord I bought new has 150K on it.
My wife’s 97’ Corolla has 80K on it, 40K which are hers.

Mine was paid off in 01’. Hers in 04’.
She keeps asking when we are going to get new cars.

(Not for a looong time)

About 45,000 on a 2002 Grand Am.

I’m going for the lowest total miles here:

'02 Dodge Caravan - 76,000 mi
'03 Nissan Xterra - 52,000 mi
'05 Toyota Corolla - 3500 mi

For a grand total of 131,000 miles. All three were bought new with under 20 miles on them each, so Mrs.Maxx and I have put everyone of those miles on there.

Ny husband’s '95 Jeep has 125,000 miles on it; when we bought it used in '99 it had 94,000, so w’ve put 31,000 on in almost 6 years.

My 2000 Volvo has 80,500 miles; I put all but the first 12 on.

4920 miles on my 2005 Prius, all but 25 miles are mine. Going for its first service this weekend.

When I sold my 300ZX, it had 184,000 miles on it, only about 40,000 were mine.

95 Impreza, 107,000 miles. About 10,000 are mine. (I’ve only changed the oil twice.)

Before I bid good riddance to my 98 Volvo S70, it had about 150,000 miles. I put about 100,000 of those on it, and my mom put most of the rest. It was a dealership loaner, so it had a few thousand on it before we got it.

My '05 Mazda3 has around 14,000. I’ve had it less than 7 months, and it had 200 on it when I got it.

My 95 Volvo has 145,000 miles on it, all mine, mostly commuting.

I take a degree of satisfaction from the fact that I’ve only owned two cars the the last 25 years (the one before was an 80 Corolla that made it to 105K).

There’s about 68,000 miles on my 2000 Nissan Sentra. The last 36,000 are mine; I got it used in July '02 with 32,000 on it.

Just over 90,000 on my '97 Saturn SL2. I bought it with about 44,000 on it. It’s doing fine.

I have a 98 Camry, which I bought new, that has about 150,000 miles on it.

My '95 Buick Regal has 239,000 miles on it. (Purchased it new.) I had to repalce the transmission at 60,000 miles and put in a new engine at 120,000 miles, but these last 119,000 miles have been very good. I hope it lasts four more years, long enough to pay off the loan on the '04 Saturn Ion (9,000 miles).

82,400 on a 2000 Cavalier, all mine.

My 95 Dodge Spirit has 102K very hard miles. All mine. And the thing was designed to crap the bed at 88,000.

'97 Ford Aerostar just turned over 164K miles last week. Just about all of the miles are mine, personally. My inlaws put a few hundred on it one time, and my husband and daughter have driven it a total of a few thousand miles. We bought it new in November of 1996. I plan to drive it till it dies. I love my Aerostar.

'93 Saturn with nearly 180k. I bought it in February of '02 with 129k on it. I’d like to see it get to 200k.

2002 Nissan Sentra with just over 22,000 miles; all but the first 12,000 have been put on by me (I bought it in January 2004).

I drove my old '94 Mitsubishi nearly into the ground, and I’m amazed at how little mileage I’m putting on this “new” car. Only 10,000 miles in 18 months! In the old days, I would drive 300 miles (one way) to see my family in Jersey on a moment’s notice; even a few years ago I would drive 50 miles (one way) to visit family/friends in Maryland pretty regularly. These days, it takes me 10 minutes to get to work, 20 minutes to get to school (once a week when it’s in session), and 40 minutes to get to my best friend’s (1-2 times a month): the longest drive I face on any regular basis is the hour to Maryland, but those trips are down to once every couple of months or so. I love to drive, I just hate the traffic around here. :frowning:
