Oops; I think you’re right. But, as you say…same entity, different stories.
(When Adrian Conan Doyle, Sir Arthur’s son, wrote a book of Sherlock Holmes stories, do we say “That’s not the same Sherlock Holmes?” Of course not. Fanfic about Harry Potter is still about the same Harry Potter, even if the stories aren’t licensed.)
Did I say I wanted that? No. I only made the point that some of you would be clever dorks aren’t smart enough to debate the facts, so you resort to personal attacks.
Reading comprehension isn’t difficult, except for dummies.
Why is it that, if a Muslim kills someone, the U.S. Constitution doesn’t count for dogshit, but if someone uses a gun to kill someone, the Second Amendment is our most holy and sacred document ever?
Of course they did. It helps their cause to make people like you hate Islam and perpetuate the us vs them mentality. It allows them to recruit the mentally unstable and isolated.
Yet, according to people who knew the attacker he was Muslim in name only and didn’t give much of a shit about Islam until very very recently and was mentaly unstable. He never visited a mosque before April of this year and didn’t even fast for Ramadan. He was a guy looking for an excuse to kill people. This was convenient.
This doesn’t mean Isis didn’t recruit him and turn him in 3 months, but if they did its because he was already crazy and they gave him an excuse. People who believe all Muslims are evil, was the excuse. That’s how they recruit.
We all want that. But not all of us take the view that all Muslims are terrorists and should be dealt with accordingly, and link to Islamophobic hate sites to prove it.
And yet according to that same article, the killer
… had a history of petty crime going back to 2010. He received a six-month suspended sentence this year for assaulting a motorist, but was not on the radar of French intelligence agencies. Indeed, he seemed more like a surly misfit — he beat his wife, until she threw him out — than a prospective terrorist …
… In Msaken, Tunisia, the attacker’s father, Mohamed Mondher Lahouaiej Bouhlel, told Agence France-Presse on Friday night that his son had depression, and that he “had almost no links to religion.”
This is a common story. Most of these guys turn out to be criminals and misfits with no religious beliefs who find personal validation in self-identifying with high-profile terrorist organizations even if they actually have nothing whatsoever to do with them.
I have not been participating in this thread and I have no investment in it, but having just skimmed it now I must say that your posts stand out as the ravings of a reprehensible bigoted piece of shit.
He beat his wife? Well go figure that. Just go to google and you can easily find numerous accounts of wives and daughters alike being stoned, beaten, and killed because the husbands and fathers decided they shamed him or the family.
Of course it’s insane. At least by my measure, it’s insane as all hell.
