I know there’s Will Smith, LL Cool J, Ice T
Whitney Houston, Mariah Carey, Brandy and Britney Spears.
There’s been Sting, Meatloaf, Jon Bon Jovi
various Country Music Singers

There’s also the Actor/Actress who became a Singer
Jennifer Lopez,
Ricky Martin (I know who was in Menudo as a child, but he became an actor, then came back to Music.)

So who is the next?

Pink
She might be able to pull a Will Smith, get her own show on TV, then move to Movies. Doing both Music and Acting. I like Pink, I think she could do it.

As long as there are musicians making music, there will be musicians making movies.
