How many of you still own stuffed animals?

43 years old male. About 17yrs. ago I had a work related accident. While I was in hospital sister brought me a Care Bear, the one with the rainbow on his belly. He hangs on a shelf in my bedroom. In the garage, on the tool box, sits Corduroy Kittie. It was made by my nextdoor neighbor for my sister, it is mine now very high sentimental value. Quality not quantity.

Quite a few, I’ve adopted a few to be my sons though I don’t have a daughter yet… hmmm… Lots are in storage but the ones in my room:

*Cinders- a black beanie baby bear that I love to pieces that my boyfriend gave to me recently
*Mapache- My raccoon, my adopted son too, it’s about as big a a beanie baby and so adorable, his adoptive father is my ex-boyfriend
*Lobster- a light brownish bunny rabbit that people keep mistaking for a dog… or a chinchilla, I adopted him too, he was too adorable to not adopt, his dad’s name is Tom
*Lucifer Bob Nothorian II- A tie dyed beanie buddy lizard with yellow/silver eyes. Originally my then boyfriend’s son but I lost the first one and when he gave me this second one he refued to be the father so he’s russel’s son
*Tiger- never really named her, just a big white tiger I keep around for spirit rallies and the like, my class’s mascot is a white tiger
*Kitty- big white and grey cat pillow

There are a few other beanie babies but I can’t name them right now…

Heeheeheeheeheeheeheeheeheeheehee!
That is just TOO funny!!!
I’ll try that on Roommate when he gets out of line.

“Sneaky”, the Beanie-Baby leopard, is sitting on top of my Linksys Router right now, watching me with his sightless staring eyes…he’s so cute!

I have the bestest Beanie Baby in the world, Paul the Walrus (Thanx Arnold!)
Regular stuffed animals include a camel (That I call Sally behind my BF’s back) a monkey, an elephant, and a GIANT pink bunny rabbit.

I’m 18, and male. But I still have a lot of plushies. Most of them are Foxes (I collect vulpines). Not all of them, but most of them.

Most of them are perched on my bed. I like sleeping with my plushies because it feels a little less ‘lonely’ that way. I know–I’m pathetic. :stuck_out_tongue:
Chayse- A red fox.
Rock- Another fox
Dougie- A tiny lil’ bunny! (Dougie Bunny)
Altar- A skunk
Tamino- Another fox
And finally–a big stuffed Pikachu.

I used to have a bear, too. But it disappeared one day under mysterious circumstances.

All of my plushies are named after friends who are important to me. Except the Pikachu, of course, who is just big and soft and huggable.

Ash, I also own a plump Pikachu (a gift from a friend…bah!)

My father is almost 60 years old and he has a Beanie Baby lamb. Even though its tag proclaims it to be named “Ewey”, Dad calls it “Lamby”. Some lady bought it for him when he was in the hospital a while back.

Right now I have Pugsly staring at me. He’s a gift from Ray. He’s a pug (obviously). Adorable little thing!

I still have my teddy bear, named Teddy. He’s sitting on a bookcase overlooking my baby daughter.

After watching “Toy Story 2”, I don’t think I’ll throw away another toy. That song showing Jessie and Emily made me cry at the theatre, and I still get choked up watching the video.

i have quite a few animals around. a quick count of the ones in the room with me came to 30.

i did find the most interesting store recently called: “build-a-bear.” you pick out your animal, then you can have sound added, get the little buddy stuffed, pick out a heart, have a lost and found tag put in, then brush and fluff to get off any loose stuffing. they have an enormous amount of accessories for your bear to choose from. some lucky munchkin in my familly will be getting a cheerleader bear this year for her birthday.

i have also bought quite a few stuffed dragons for kidlets born this year. the ones from ty are very soft and cute.

I have a Hello Kitty and a bear that looks like her twin.

I’ll name the three I have on my bed right now–the others I threw into my closet last week for some odd reason.

Melissa–a brown bear with a plaid dress and matching bloomers. Her head and limbs are all furry but she’s one of those older stuffed animals that is white cloth for the rest of her body. She’s about as old as me and Dad bought her for me when he went to Massachusetts for an antiques show when I was a little girl.

Muffin–a plush black and white short-haired cat, about a foot tall and sitting like cats usually do, on her haunches. I named her Muffin because at the time I had a cat named Muffin that looked about the same except for having long hair. I got her for Christmas when I was 7 years old. She’s getting sort of ragged from me crying on her and hugging her and getting welfy tears and boogies and stuff on her. I got her from my older cousin Joni.

Purpleberry–fairly new. I got him for my 18th birthday perched on a large flower arrangement that was sent to my school for me from my boyfriend, Ray. He’s one of those Ty bears, very soft with purple fur and a huge black fuzzy nose. He’s most adorable and smells like a flower shop.
