How many packets of duck sauce are wasted each year?

It’s definitely more than a teaspoon. Probably more like a tablespoon. (that’s 15 ml, to all you metric-heads)

Maybe someone who has a packet lying around could measure it?

Duck, silly.

My sister-roommate has accumulated quite a few packets of various fastfood condiments in our fridge. No duck sauce, but the soy sauce says “Net 1/4 fl. oz.” on it. The Arby’s Sauce, despite being a smaller packet, is 1/2 oz. (14.2 g). None of the ketchup or salsa packets have any weight/volume measurements listed.

Strangely enough, the McDonald’s, Wendy’s and Arby’s barbecue sauces (which come it little “tubs” as opposed to packets) are all Net Wt. 1 oz, despited all beind different size tubs.
McDonald’s: 1 oz (28.3 g)
Wendy’s: 1 oz. (28 g)
Arby’s: 1 fl. oz. (29.57 ml)

If anyone wants to experiment on how long one can live on fastfood condiment packs, stop by, I have plenty to spare.

If I hadn’t read this thread, I’d have no idea how many of these things she’s accumulated, but now I’d feel guilty if I threw them out.
