How do you pick what you are going to have faith in? Do you guess what you want to believe?
oops!didn’t mean to post twice
whatever1- First off, if you are trying to get into a theological showdown, I am the wrong person to do it with, since there is not much in the bible that I “believe” per se. I would probably agree with you.
There is sin every second, of every hour, of every day. Man has free will to do what he pleases. We are not debating whether incest happened (Which it did, read the story of Noah and his two daughters) but whether there were other people at the time of Adam & Eve. Once again, if you read Genesis, (as a historical document) it clearly states that Cain found a wife in another land. So unless A&E had a baby girl that wasn’t mentioned, and then shipped her off to Nod, we can (once again) safely say that there were other people.
That is a good question, however it is not relevant to the thread, so I will be brief. If you want more info, start another thread.
Imagine the cops telling you that your mother killed a man on the street for no apparent reason. She says she didn’t, they have no proof she did. Who do you believe? You believe who, or what you want to believe.
Faith is a complex, yet simple word, and you need to ask someone who HAS faith.
More info on Lilith, from a certain columnist known as Cecil Adams:
How could I have been so blind? The article is not from the master itself, but it’s a staff report credited to SDStaff Dex and SDStaff Terey, with an assist from RvkhMccabi
On the off chance that there was ever any answerable question in the OP, I’m declaring it answered. This thread is closed.
