This in the news today brought a factual question to my mind:
This surprised me because I thought widespread paid administrative leave ended on September 30, 2025. So I am wondering how many are still being paid not to work, aside from the Voice of America staff.
I am NOT asking for whether it is good or bad to have employees being paid not to work, just for the number – ideally, broken down by agency.
