How much Cooking does Dennys, IHop etc. still do?

Has anyone worked at these places in the last few years? Maybe you could answer some questions?

I know Dennys, IHop and other similar places cook eggs, bacon, and (I hope) fresh pancakes on a grill.

What about the dinner plates? Meatloaf, roast beef, ham and the veggies that come with them. Are these microwave dinners? Do they cook anything on the dinner plates anymore?

How about the burgers? I’ve been suspicious that Dennys uses precooked frozen patties. I’m not certain. But, the meat seems to have a slightly different texture. It doesn’t seem like fresh meat. Sadly, they remind me of those burgers you get at 7-11 and zap in their microwave.

French Fries? Frozen or fresh?

I forgot to mention deserts. A friend mentioned once that the waitress has to do that themselves. They plate the apple pie, add the scoop of ice cream, and serve.

I always tip extra when I get desert. Since I know it’s more work for the waitress.
