The Laundromat I use has a few industrial, front-loading Wascomat W74 washing machines. There are three detergent compartments on the top of the machine: One for pre-wash, one for wash, and one for fabric softener. I use Tide, which says to use one cup of detergent for large loads. Now, am I supposed to add a cup to each of the first two compartment, or should d I split it between compartment one and two?
It all depends.
Normally soiled laundry use detergent in center cup only.
Very dirty laundry use detergent for prewash and wash.
Fabric softener optional.
