This is true - certainly in my neck of the woods there were way more vape shops than the market could remotely sustain. (Also, for some reason, a lot of new tattoo parlours opening. Not sure why that’s trending so heavily, unless “Tattoo Fixers” has a much bigger audience than I thought.)
