How much do we like the straight dope?

Okay i have a little question for the people of the SDMB . On a scale of 1 to 10 how much do you like the straight dope and cecil adams , 1 being that you have only read a few articles and dont really care , 10 being that you never miss a column , you spend half of your life searching the archives, and you have seriously considered naming your cat,dog,hampster,etc after cecil. and numbers above 10 are welcomed if you feel you love this place more that , I of course pick 10.

I could live without it. Heck, I hardly ever come here, and I’ve never returned one of Cecil’s phone calls.

There are no words or numbers to describe how much I like this place. I’m attatched and don’t ever want to leave!!

I’m attached, too. I’ve chained myself to the server and won’t leave until the loggers cease their heartless raping of nature. Not that there are any loggers trying to chainsaw down the server, but you gotta be prepared for everything :).

Re the SDMB, I’m a 15. If the site did not have a message board, I’d be maybe an 8.

I’ve wondered how many people were here for the mb and not the column

I was reading the column way before the mb since i generally hate message boards

In fact I registred like the first month when the site moved from aol but it never took and i never botherd to fix it as i just read the boards …

But My writing tends to need a editor as you can see in some of my post … i do get a response occasionaly …

anyway im rambling
