How much money do these boxers earn?

I am watching the fights on Fox, featuring someone named Sanchez, who is in great shape, vs. someone named Bisbal, who is woefully overweight.

I haven’t followed the fights closely since the days of Leonard, Hagler, Duran, and those guys, so I don’t know much about the current scene. I am just wondering what kind of money these guys earn per fight? And where are they ranked in the heavyweight division? I can’t imagine that it’s very high.

Sanchez-Bisbal is a replacement fight for one that was canceled due to an injury. [Cite] That can be a bit of a letdown compared to fights planned further in advance. That might affect Bisbals conditioning since there was less warning. It’s not like George Foreman in his second career phase was lean even when the fight was planned long in advance. It’s also doesn’t look like either of these guys are making a career of being beaten up by contenders for a paycheck.

From the obviously promotional cite:

A former amateur standout from his native Cuba, Sanchez (12-0, 10 KOs) now lives in Las Vegas and is unbeaten since turning pro in 2017. The 27-year-old scored knockouts in his first six pro fights, and picked up nine victories in 2018. Sanchez most recently scored a dominant second round stoppage over Jason Bergman at The Armory in July.

After representing Puerto Rico at the 2004 Olympic games, Bisbal (23-3, 17 KOs) won 21 of his first 22 pro fights, including a 16-fight winning streak from late 2006 until 2013. He suffered defeats to Dominic Breazeale and Magomed Abdusalamov before winning his last two fights heading into August 31. /quote]

They aren’t in the top 30 ranking list I just looked at. With those records they are more rising possible contenders than complete chumps.
