I see a PhD for therapy. Since it goes through my insurance I get an EOB (“Explanation of Benefits”) when they pay her bill.
How much of her charge is profit? What are her expenses likely to be? Her rate is $205/hour. Is that average? High? Low?
How many clients will she typically see in a week or a day? I’m assuming not everyone pays the full rate (ie - some may be sliding scale, some may be coming to her through the state, etc.).
