How much to work fulltime at a McDonald's

This is all hypothetical, as in how much would it take to get you to work there. AFAIK, they only ACTUALLY pay about $20K

As for me, I don’t think I’d ever work in food service again, for any amount of money. Certainly not at a McDs.

I’d probably do it for a million, though.

Great OP, btw.

Kellibelli, I’m not being elitist. I have worked at fast food jobs, and I have no desire to go back. I realize that the people that work there are doing honest, hard work. I don’t disrespect anyones work. I would chose to never, ever work there again though. I got yelled at by managers who couldn’t tell their ass from their elbow who thought they were all that cause they were the shift manager, yelled at by customers over things I had no control over, worked in disgusting conditions. My job now is nothing glamourous, but it beats the hell out of that.
I’m not trying to offend anyone, but my experience has made me realize that fast food service is not for me.

Ya know, call me a slacker, but after having to make decisions every day for the past 14 years of my working life, MCyD’s sounds like a dream job. Yeah, I’ve worked fast food before, and yeah people can be pretty crappy, but if I could make what I’m making now (about 75K) working there, I’d do it. Respect from your co-workers/bosses is over rated. I work to eat, put a roof over my family’s head and live a comfortable life after work. No stress, no pressure sounds fun.

You say that I wouldn’t be able to quit, but my question is: Can I be fired? If not, hell, I’ll work there for a mere $300,000 a year. I would, of course, refuse to do anything I didn’t want to do, sass off to the manager, give free food to the nice customers and tell off the nasty customers.
If I could be fired, I would require a yearly salary of $1.5 million. Then, after a couple of years of saving, I’d start doing all the stuff listed at the end of paragraph one until I got fired…

I worked for Mc e-d’s when I was 15 and was so happy to get out of there. As I was walking out the door one of my co-workers, the pregnant 15 year old one, turned to me and said, “you’ll be back, they always come back”. Right after she said that I turned to her and swore that I would never come back. Never.

So I really don’t believe that I could ever go back to Mcdonalds

Now, Burger King, however is another story altogether…

$1,000,000 a year. Guaranteed for the next 20 years. I’d be proud to flip burgers for at least 10 hours a week.
