How Much Vitamin B12 in A Shot?

I was watching “Seinfeld,” and Geroge mentioned getting a vitamin b12 shot. I was wondering how much vitamin b12 is in one shot? I tried to Google and I don’t seem to be able to pull the dose info for a shot

It’s usually given subcutaneously or intramuscularly in a doctor’s office, and the normal dose is 1,000 mcg, or 1ml.

Cyanocobalamin is normally supplied as 1000mcg per 1mL in a solution for intramuscular injection. The normal dose I see prescribed in the pharmacy is 1 mL every month.

Thanks interesting to know
