…flouride is in the flouride treatment the dentist gives me every 6 months? I know over the counter toothpast contains .14% flouride, and over the counter flouride rinse has (like ACT) has .05%. But what does that stuff the dentist makes me rinse with have? Does 2 treatments a year with it really do any good?
Why not ask your dentist?
Of course the dentist will say it is beneficial. Duh! :wally
I was rinsing with ACT over the counter flouride rinse when I thought this question up. I’m not going to call my dentist at 12:30a.m. to ask him the percentage of flouride in the treatment he gives me twice a year.
(I should have thought of this question yesterday. Somehow that sounds like a good Halloween prank call.
