I haven’t cleaned a home window since 1988. All my shades are drawn and blinds closed to keep out the Florida heat. So why bother?
I do the primary windows about once every 4-8 weeks.
I don’t believe I’ve washed the bathroom windows ever. They are ‘frosted’ or ‘pebbled’ or whatever, so don’t look dirty.
I have noticed the kids have some kind of psychic power and know when the windows have been washed, because their unwashed hands and faces are hopelessly drawn to a newly washed window.
I’ve lived in my house since 1971, 37 years, and I have never washed the outside of the windows. I’m not proud of it; it is just something that never occurred to me to do.
Well, it rained here yesterday.
Other than that, well, I live in an apartment building. Not on the first floor. Unless the building does it (and I’d prefer they do other things with my maintenance money), it ain’t happening.
