How often do you get threads that are really ads for products?
I know I’ve seen some that just evaporated in an hour.
Is it a problem? Some message boards are full of them. Chain letters, too. This board seems pretty clean of those.
It’s not for a product but would this count?
Sez in our registration agreement that we do not allow commercial solicitation of any kind. (Except, of course, for that which we do ourselves, but it’s our website, we’re entitled.)
When we find such things, we remove them – and usually the person who put them there.
