Same here. I’m from an era where carrying cash is a necessity. Plus I hate using credit cards, much rather pay with cash.
Rental property manager here. People pay their rent this time of the month. I see them every day.
I usually handle one or two a month - I tend to keep back a couple hundred dollars on payday just for petty cash, and it often comes in $100 bills.
About once a year during Christmas time when Grandma sends me one. Other than that I think they are pointless, a pain in the ass to use, and a pain in the ass to get. You have to go find a bank somewhere and go inside to get one right? I’ll pass on that and just use a credit card or search around for my checkbook. I actually just found my checkbook after it was lost for about 6 months in my office somewhere under the clutter.
