I bathe my cat once a month. I’ve been doing that since she was little. She doesn’t mind it much.
If I had to bathe a cat, I’d give one of these a shot.
The cat in the picture looks so happy–I’m sure they don’t mind at all.
Our Maine Coon is a water freak, and jumps into the bathtub immediately after the final bit of water drains. She stares at the dripping faucet, and curls up around the wet drain. She bullies her way into the shower as well, and curls up on the drain after we are done. She is a nut.
Pepper Mill says she’s washing Midnight an average of once a week anymore. She did it today.
Lately she;'s taken to using Baby Wipes – she can hold Midnight down with one hand and wipe with the pre-moistened towelette with the other.
Says who?
I had to bathe Snowball a few times. He was a big boy with long hair that sometimes got dirty at the back end, or he would do something weird (like one day he explored the fireplace and stretched out getting covered in soot.)
He seemed to be part Turkish Angora, a kind of cat that likes water (I’ve seen photos of Snowball clones swimming).
So he didn’t mind much. BUT, if he thought you were taking too long he’d trying to walk out on you. And as he got older, putting him in a big sink of warm water made him pee instantly.
Yep, washed both of them pretty regularly up until 2 years ago.
