Gawd, this is depressing - I’m one of the most ancient - only about 4 so far who are older than me.
I’m 54 - will be 55 in February.
When it comes to the subscriptions next year, how about a reduced rate for the over-50s??

Happy Birthday, SA! I can picture you in your garret with a roll-up in one hand, paint brush in the other, about to crack open a bottle of cheap red wine.
Thank you, roger. You’ve pegged me remarkably well. I can indeed frequently be found with a “roll-up” in one hand a brush in the other, and I love cheap (and on special occasions, moderately priced) wine, especially chardonnay, merlot, pinot noir, pinot grigio (or gris, if you prefer), chianti, and port. (I have to be careful with port, I love that stuff!)
But thanks again for the birthday wishes. If you were here I’d treat you to a glass of my best.
